Mr. Jackie Lindsey, Sr., 80, of Gainesville passed away August 10, 2021 at his residence.

Born on November 27, 1940 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Ben and Mazie Buffington Lindsey. He was retired from the Wrigley’s/Mars Company and a member of The Jehovah Witness.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lindsey is preceded in death by his brothers, Samuel, Howard and Neal; sisters, Agnes and Barbara and Rebecca and his first wife, Ella Mae Lindsey.

Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife, Yong Mi Lindsey of Gainesville; sister, Cleo Williams of Gainesville; sons, Jackie Lindsey, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, James Lamar Lindsey of Hiawassee, David Jerome Lindsey of Lithonia, Jared Maurice Lindsey of Gainesville, Randal Joe Lindsey of Flowery Branch; daughters, Harriet J. Williams (Michael) of Alto, Cynthia Melissa Willis (Troy) of Gainesville and a host of grand and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
