Rocco "Rocky" Joseph Selvaggi, Jr.

Rocco "Rocky" Joseph Selvaggi, Jr., 76, of Cumming, Georgia passed away late Sunday night on August 8, 2021 in his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rocco and Evelyn Selvaggi, brother Robert "Bob" Selvaggi, sister Patricia Kennedy (nee Selvaggi), and daughter Amy Beth Selvaggi. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy O'Brien, son and daughter-in-law Jason and Patricia Selvaggi, a brother, Michael Selvaggi (and his wife Michelle), two grandchildren,two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Rocky was born in Connecticut, where he lived most of his life. He was a Corrections Officer for that state until his retirement. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed many sports, especially baseball, football, and boxing, and was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and Giants. He enjoyed cooking and excelled at making spaghetti sauce. He was a skilled pool player and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Meriden, Connecticut. He was generous, outgoing, and readily spoke with strangers.
Rocky's final arrangement is being handled by McDonald & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Cumming. He will be cremated and his ashes interred at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia. At his request, no memorial service will be held.
