Mark Wayne Sasser

Mark Wayne Sasser, 69, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away at his residence with his family at his side. Mark was born September 26, 1951 to Harry Wayne and Vera Elizabeth Sasser of Dawsonville, Georgia.

Mark was of the Christian faith and was an avid student of the Bible. He received his degree from Georgia State University and originated the Sasser Insurance Agency in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Mark was passionate for his horses, the land, gardening, flowers and long walks with his wife, Tyo.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Elizabeth Sasser.

Survivors include wife, Tyo Victoria Laurent Sasser; father Harry and his wife, Linda Sasser; brother, William Craig Sasser; children, Kristi Sasser, Decatur, GA., April (David) Browning, Winterville, GA., Victoria Tovar, Mt. View, CA., Daniel Sasser, Hartwell, GA., Ethan Sasser, Winder, GA., Nathan (Kelcie) Sasser, Watkinsville, GA., Nicholas Tovar, Tempe, AZ.; stepsister, Beth Solesbee and eight grandchildren.

At this time no service will be held.

The family has asked that flowers please be omitted and that memorial contributions please be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mark.
