Lucille Pittman Martin

Mrs. Lucille Pittman Martin passed away Tuesday August 3, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Stone and Rev. Jon Samples will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on July 21st in Maysville GA, she was the daughter of the late Rache Pittman and the late Mamie Lord Pittman. She was a graduate of Perry Business College, retired from Gainesville Midland Railroad and a member of Riverbend Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Martin; sisters, Jimmie Lou Pittman, Margaret Whelchel, Hazel Hudgins; brother, Eugene Pittman and son in law, Al Mize.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her children, Martha Mize of Gainesville, Ken Martin of Gainesville; her dear grandson, Zach Mize of Gainesville and a host of special nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Riverbend Baptist Church 1715 Cleveland Highway, Gainesville, GA 30501 or to New Holland Baptist Church 2 Quarry Street, Gainesville, GA.
