Honor Raye Hall

Born in Jackson County Jefferson, Georgia July 03, 1937 to the late Joseph C. Law and Ina Bell (Burns) Law the 9th of 11 children. She peacefully departed this life Monday August 02,2021. Mrs.Hall was preceded in death by her husband Autry B.Hall, brothers Vernon Law, Joseph C.Law Jr. and Ollie B.Law sisters Julia Gatlin, Alice Faye Law, Bernice Thurmond and Emma Tutman. Honor Raye was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene and attended until declining health were she greatly enjoyed adult Sunday School Class, cooking, reading, gardening vegetables and flowers, canning making jellies and persevering sewing, shape note singing and for many years was a member of a local group under Mr. Joe Fields. She worked many years with the local American Legion selling sandwiches. She retired from private childcare. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Marlita Gail Law, Gainesville, brother Edward Law Gainesville sister's Dorothy Durant Philadelphia Pennsylvania and Betty Owens, Gainesville Special Great niece Petula Howard, Gainesville, adopted niece, friend and neighbor Doreen Thomas. Longtime friends Joyce Woodward and Frankie Strickland and a host of relatives and friends.
