Jim Hansel Weaver

Mr. Jim Hansel Weaver, age 88, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, July 30, 2021. 

Mr. Weaver was born in Gilmer County on July 22, 1933 to the late Paul and Zennie Weaver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Weaver; brothers, Jack Weaver, and Perry Weaver; and sisters-in-law Kathy Weaver, and Ruth Weaver. Mr. Weaver was a veteran and served in the United States Army. He was self-employed providing services to help his clients with home improvement. Mr. Weaver loved to fish, and he was a loving husband and father. 

Survivors include his daughter, Elaine Weaver, Dahlonega; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hoyt and Peggy Ann Weaver, Bennett, NC, and Mark and Barbara Weaver, Dahlonega; brother, Fred Weaver, Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Polly and J.B. Bearden, Dahlonega, and Peggy and Charles Hood, Dahlonega; sisters-in-law, Glenda Sue Weaver, and Doris Weaver, both of Dahlonega; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  

Mr. Weaver will be laid to rest at Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church next to his beloved wife.
