Walter Kenneth “Ken” Farmer

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Walter Kenneth “Ken” Farmer, Jr., age 56 of Athens, Georgia (South Jackson Community) who entered into rest Friday, July 30, 2021.  Mr. Farmer was born in Athens, Georgia the son of Walter Kenneth “Buddy” Farmer, Sr. of Athens, and the late Laquila Sosebee Farmer.  Mr. Farmer was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and loved to play golf, buy, sale and trade.

Survivors in addition to his father are two daughters, Hannah Turpin (Jake) of Commerce and Haley Heredia (Jael) of Athens.  Two grandchildren, Lynley Marie Turpin of Commerce and Jaylee Naomi Heredia of Athens.  Step-brother,

Michael David Farmer of Jacksonville, Florida and step-sister, Barbara Lee Dickson of Royston.

A graveside memorial service will be held 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from the Bogart Methodist Church Cemetery for family and friends.
