Terry Dale Yearwood

Mr. Terry Dale Yearwood, age 68 of Defoor Road, Toccoa passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late E.C. and Pearline Hallford Yearwood, he was born January 22, 1953 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was a retired diesel mechanic and had pastored El Bethel Baptist Church.  He was a member of Old Toccoa Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Lynda Stewart Yearwood; two daughters, Heather (Kirk) Russell and Sheila Colucci both of Toccoa; son, Shannon Thompson of Toccoa; grandsons, Jared Russell and Josh Eller; brother, John Yearwood of Toccoa.

Funeral services will Thursday, July 29, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Old Toccoa Baptist Church with The Reverend Chris Roberts and The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Shannon Thompson, Danny Beggs, James Meyerholtz and Mike Koppin.

Interment will follow in the Old Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Terry Dale Yearwood.
