Johnny Lee Smith

Mr. Johnny Lee Smith, 75, of Gainesville passed away Monday, July 19, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Emory Forrester will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on November 27, 1945 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of the late Homer Smith and Cozetta Head Smith. Mr. Smith retired from Pilgrim’s Pride with 45 years of service where he was a supervisor. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Jane Smith of Gainesville; children, Tommy Smith, David Smith, Melissa Smith, Wayne Smith; 5 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Junior Smith, Brenda and Hubert Seabolt, Lamar and Marie Smith, Ronald and Cathy Smith, Danny Smith; sisters in law, Robbie Forrester, Sherry Gain; sister and brother in law, Linda and Michael Helton; brother in law, Johnny Martin, Bones Martin, Bud Martin and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
