Mrs. Linda McDaniel Stover, age 78, of Suches, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021.
Mrs. Stover was born in Atlanta on July 21, 1942 to the late Hoyt and Mozelle Wilson McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Burl McDaniel and sister Betty Ann McDaniel. Mrs. Stover was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and was very active with Vacation Bible School. She loved her house and the Suches area and made pies for the Indian Summer Festival each year. She was also a member of the Gaddistown Homemakers.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-laws Joe and Jan Stover of Clarksville, and Jason and Carin Stover of Dahlonega; sister Carolyn Gravitt of Suches; grandchildren Joey (Ebony) Stover, Jarad Stover, Jaron Stover, Jozelle Stover, Victoria (Jordan) Aethelric, Emily (Jake) Hudgins, Amber Stover, Noah Stover, Kayla Wyatt, Noah Wyatt, Emily Wyatt, Sara Wyatt, and Micah Wyatt; great-grandchildren Joseph Stover, Mahalia Yanishyia Stover, and one more on the way; niece Shannon (James) Washington; and great-niece Morgan Washington.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Suches. The Rev. Matt Jones and the Rev. David Barton will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Vacation Bible School Fund or to the Gaddistown Homemakers, Woody Gap School Scholarship Fund.
