Linda Picco Marotta

Linda Picco Marotta, age 73, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosalie Testa Picco.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Morris Marotta, Suwanee, GA; children, Kristin Zifchak, Pleasant View, TN, Karin Marotta, Edison, NJ, Lauren Marotta, Alpharetta, GA, Julie (Alex) Naiduk, Edison NJ; grandchildren, Kyle Zifchak, Adrinne Zifchak, Alex J. Naiduk, Ryan Naiduk; sisters, Patricia (David) Hamilton, Port St. Lucie, FL, Carol (Dominic) Macchia, Westbury, NY; numerous relatives and friends.  Mrs. Marotta was born on April 30, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ.  She graduated from St. Michael Catholic High School in 1966 and from St. Francis School of Nursing in 1969.  Mrs. Marotta was a retired registered nurse from J.F. Kennedy Hospital in Edison, NJ.  She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch, GA.  She was also a baritone with the Song Atlanta Show Chorus.  A Funeral Mass wil be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2021 at Prince of Peach Catholic Church, Spout Springs Rd., Flowery Branch, GA.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.  Entombment will immediately follow at Memorial Park South Funeral Home, 4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA  30542.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Linda Marotta.
