Johnny “Juicy” Singleton, 87, of Dawsonville passed away Monday July 12, 2021 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Born July 23, 1933, Johnny had been a resident of Dawson County since 1978 and had previously lived in Dekalb County. He was a member of Goshen Baptist Church. A devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, he worked very hard all throughout his life and ensured that his children all had strong work ethics by the example that he set. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors and trucks, was an avid NASCAR fan and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie “Sam” Singleton, parents, Austin and Mary Singleton, 9 siblings, and his beloved dog, Cody.
Surviving are his children, Teresa Singleton, Lynn (Donald) Fouts, Tony (Laura) Singleton, all of Dawsonville, Shanna (George) Singleton-Deitsch, of Louisiana; grandchildren, Amber Singleton, Brian Fouts, Kyle Singleton, John Hendrix, Savanna Fouts; 5 great-grandchildren; best friend, Andy and Ellen Adams; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Andy Wallace and Rev. Leonard W. Ridings will officiate. The service will be live streamed on Bearden Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
