Michael Wayne Galloway

Michael Wayne Galloway, age 46 of Commerce, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on January 25, 1975, he was a son of Marshall Wayne Galloway and Margaret Rose Prowell both of Commerce. Mr. Galloway was a diesel mechanic with R.C.S. Auto Center. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his daughter and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Preston Marshall Galloway; maternal grandparents, Bobbie Ruth Kyser and Mitchell Prowell; 2 uncles; nephew, Seth Adam Rudeseal.

Surviving are his wife, Amber Osborne Galloway of Commerce; daughters, Kensley Grace Galloway of Commerce and Alexi Ray Galloway of Indiana; step-daughter, Shayleigh Danyale Schultz of Commerce; step-sons, Jacob Dewayne Schultz and Corey Nathaniel Schultz both of Commerce; grandchild, Mateo Andres Marchan;  paternal grandmother, Doris Ann Galloway of the Hollywood Community; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle Lee Starr (Jason) of Commerce, Judy Ann Robart (Tim) of Jefferson and Julie Gallardo of Texas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, July 9, 2021 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Dr. Kenneth Franklin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour on Friday.
