Amilcar Padilla, Sr.

Mr. Amilcar Padilla, Sr., age 74, of Braselton passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Jose Padilla will officiate.  The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Padilla was born April 24, 1947 to the late Bernardo & Gorgonia Padilla, Sr. in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.  He was retired from Disney, where he worked in maintenance and of the Christian faith. 

Mr. Padilla is survived by his wife, Rosa Iris Padilla; sons, Amilcar Padilla, Jr, Kenny Padilla and Jose Padilla; daughters, Arlene Padilla Hernandez and Jessica Vecchio; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bernardo, Jr., Fernando, Salvador, Felix and Jose L; and sister, Eneida.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Awilda.
