Mary Catherine Plemmons

Mary Catherine Plemmons received her wings Friday, July 2, 2021. She was the first of triplet girls born October 26, 1951. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Cathy loved to sing as well as garden, she also loved to bake, and everyone loved her strawberry cake. Her greatest love of all was her family who consists of 201.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Buford Smith of Woodstock; her parents, Clarence and Evelyn; brother, Tommy Ingram of Marietta. Several nieces and nephews also preceded her.

Survivors include two sons, Brian (Karen) Ivester of Ball Ground, GA, and Michael Ethan Brumbalow of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren, Hannah Ivester, Chad Ivester, and Ben Sanfilippo. Cathy is also survived by three brother and five sisters, Johnny (Ann) Ingram, Larry (Debra) Ingram, Dennis (Nancy) Ingram, Clara McDowell, Margaret Rakestraw, Jean (Danny) Drake, Carolyn Davis, and Mary (Tommy) Croft. Also, nieces, and nephews including great and great-great.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. with Rev. Ray Gober officiating. Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m.
