Dorene Hamilton Seabolt

Mrs. Dorene Hamilton Seabolt, 72, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Simmons will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on June 30, 1949 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late James Burgess and Fear Lou Knight Hamilton. She was retired from the Georgia Poultry Lab and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Seabolt is preceded in death by her brother, Norman Hamilton.

Mrs. Seabolt is survived by her husband, Larry Seabolt of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Janie Peace (Eric) of Flowery Branch; sisters and brothers in law, Jo Ann Holden (Grant) of Gainesville, Doris Farmer (Vernon) of Dahlonega, Teresa Crowe (Thomas) of Gainesville, Loretta Harris (Jeff) of Demorest; brothers and sisters in law, Harvey Hamilton (Shelia) of Dawsonville, Lamar Hamilton (Rhonda) of Cleveland, Robert Hamilton (Michelle) of Dahlonega; sister in law, Judy Hamilton of Dahlonega and a number of nieces and nephews.
