Johnny Morris Dispain, Sr

Mr. Johnny Morris Dispain, Sr. age 78 of Carlton, Ga passed away on Thursday June 24, 2021 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday July 02, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Edward Westbrook will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 01 2021 from 6:00—8:00 pm. at the funeral home.

Johnny was born on August 20, 1942 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Harvey Dispain and Rinda Ridley Dispain. He was a retired Commercial Electrician with REI Electric and was of the Baptist Faith. Johnny proudly served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Della Mae Edwards, Fannie-Lue Martin, Irene Broome, Jewell Sullins, Shirley Harris, Homer Dispain, Marion Dispain, and Junior Dispain.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his five children, Sheila M. Greene of Monticello, Ga, Johnny M. Dispain, Jr. (Susan) of Clayton, Ga, Dee Ledford of Monticello, Ga, Cynthia Williamson, (Chet) of Franklin, North Carolina, Joseph M. Dispain (Christiana) of Jasper, Ga 9 grandchildren, Scott Dispain (Kallie), Crystal Wallace (Michael), Clint Westbrook (Melissa), Ashley Kelly (Ryan), Erica Hall (Justin), Zach Williamson (Jessica), Joey Dispain, Dominique Dispain (Nathan) and Bailey Dispain., 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and other close family and friends.
