John Dale McConnell

Joel Dale McConnell, age 46, of Gainesville, GA, passed away, Tuesday, June 29, 2021.  He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Day Forrester of Gainesville, GA; father, Roger McConnell of Franklin, NC; brothers, Darrell McConnell and Roger McConnell of Gainesville, GA and Jeff McConnell of Franklin, NC and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. McConnell was born on May 27, 1975, in Lawrenceville, GA.  He was a fabricator with MTI Company.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Mercy Baptist Church, 3796 Tanners Mill Rd., Gainesville, GA, with Rev. Benny Parker and Rev. Carl Helton, officiating.  Interment will be at Mercy Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 and 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2021 at Flanigan Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
