Karen Anne Swan

Mrs. Karen Anne Swan age 71 of Murrayville, Ga passed away on June 24, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be scheduled for Sunday June 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Chris Swan and Dr. Tony Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 26, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. at Memorial Park North- Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive Gainesville, Ga 30501, 770-297-6200.

Karen was born on July 01, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Jim McDaniel and Helen Bird McDaniel. She was retired with the U.S.D.A where she worked as a food inspector and she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Don Swan.

Mrs. Swan is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Chris Swan (Trina) of Murrayville, Ga, son and daughter-in-law, Troy Swan (Kathy) of Lula, Ga, grandchildren, Taylor Swan, Lindsey Smith (Adam), Callie Shoemaker (Drew), Alex Mills (Allen), Elisa Hanson (Taylor), Madison Swan, 4 great-grandchildren, brother, Jim McDaniel of Arkansas, and a number of other family members and friends.
