Johnny Lee Hayes, Sr.

Johnny Lee Hayes, Sr., age 68 of Gainesville entered rest Monday June 21, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville Campus.

Johnny was born July 5, 1952 in Winder, Georgia to the late John Charles & Mary Ann Self Hayes. He worked as a truck driver and also for Crystal Farms as a supervisor. He served his Country in the United States Marine Corp, having served during Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Reyna Medina; brothers, Jewel, Ernest & Floyd Hayes.

He was survived by his daughters, April Medina & Valerie Hayes; sons, Johnny Hayes, Jr., Michael Hayes & Mark Hayes; brothers, Bobby Hayes & Jimmy Hayes; sister, Betty Hayes Hambrick; 16 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, & a host of other relatives also survive.

Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday June 26, 2021 at the VFW Post in Gainesville.
