Malinda Ann (Gruber) Crosby

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson, Georgia announces the death of Mrs. Malinda Ann (Gruber) Crosby, age 78 of Statham, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord  June 20, 2021. Mrs. Crosby was born in Miami, Florida to the late Frank John Gruber Sr. and the late Jessie Pauline Smith Gruber. Mrs. Crosby was retired from the University of Georgia as Administrative Assistant and was a member of Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church. In addition, to her parents Mrs. Crosby is proceeded in death by her daughter Kim Crosby, and brother, Frank John Gruber Jr.

Mrs. Crosby is survived by her husband of 52 years Virgil R Crosby of Statham, Georgia, daughter Montie Crosby Anderson and her husband Alan of Brunswick, Georgia, daughter Lisa Crosby Stroud of Molena, Georgia, daughter Lisa Crosby Dills of Winder, Georgia, son Kevin Crosby and his wife Angel of Moultrie, Georgia, and her very best friend Gail Robichaud of Jefferson, Georgia, thirteen Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Reverend John Batusic officiating with burial following at Woodbine Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM Prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Zac Crosby, David Dills, Michael Dills, Connor Buchanan, Josh Stroud, Justin Stroud, Collin Crosby, and T.J. Kiley with honorary Pallbearers Chase Streetmon and Christopher Thomas.
