Bobby Frank Bagley, of Cumming, died on June 20,2021 at the age of 88. He was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church. Bobby grew up in the midst of the great depression but was able to succeed in life having started poultry farming at a young age. He would grow chickens and cattle for most of his life. His passion though was investing in real estate. In the 1960’s he started buying and selling land. Over his lifetime he bought and sold hundreds of acres in many counties in North Georgia. His last residence was on the 243 acre family farm in Forsyth County. He also loved his classic cars and had quite a collection.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 68 years, Maurine (Boling) Bagley, his children, Jeffrey S. Bagley (Anita) and Jan Coleman, and his grandchildren, Ashton Merck (Alex), Jeffrey S. Bagley II (Jeri), Austin Coleman and Allyson Coleman. He is also survived by brothers, Larry Bagley and Jerry Bagley (Barbara) and many other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Bertha (Bagwell) Bagley, brothers, Ronald Bagley, J.C. Bagley, Preston Bagley and Clinton Bagley, sisters, Lura Mae Mitchell and Margaret Dennard and son-in-law, Lt. Col. Kevin Coleman.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 23, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Caylor, Rev. Don Westray and Jeffrey S Bagley II officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia. Interment will follow at the Bagley family cemetery on the family farm in Cumming, Georgia.
