Bill Buckland, 72, of Buford, GA, died Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 7 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow on Monday, June 21, 2021, at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 19, 2021, from 4 – 7 PM at the funeral home. Bill is survived by his wife, Velvet Buckland, Buford; daughter, Velvet Lace Smith, Buford; granddaughter, Romany Smith, Buford; brother, Johnny Tommy Buckland, Buford; nephew, Johnny James Buckland, and family. Bill was born in Seymour, Indiana but lived most of his life in the metro Atlanta area. He was the owner of Buckland Paving, attended Free Chapel and was a Mason and a Shriner.
