George Christopher Loggins

Obituary Date: Wednesday, June 9, 2021

George Christopher Loggins, age 65, of Alpharetta, passed away on June 9, 2021, in Mexico City, Mexico. Chris was born November 11, 1955, in Gainesville, GA to the late George Wallace & Mable Loggins. He grew up in Gainesville and attended Gainesville High School. He would later attend college at Georgia Southern University, earning a BBA in Finance while pleading Sigma Kai.  Chris was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Glenda & Terrell Bowen.

Chris passed suddenly from a heart attack in Mexico City while traveling on vacation. He loved to travel and spend time with his two loving children, Nick and Julia.  He started out his career as a management consultant and later would work for MedFusion as a Production Manager.  He would later work for a company named ASAP Solutions LLC as Director of Resource Management.  Chris would retire and enjoy his passion around the Georgia Bulldogs and traveling with his children and friends.

Survivors include his children, Nicholas Christopher Loggins and Julia Roslyn Loggins; nephew, Brent Bowen & his wife, Cara Bowen; great-nieces, Oliva Bowen & Emily Bowen; great-nephew, Luke Bowen.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00AM, Friday, June 18, 2021, in the chapel of SouthCare Cremation & Funeral Society, 225 Curie Drive, Ste. 100, Alpharetta, GA 30005. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 5:00-7:00PM at SouthCare. A private graveside service for the family will be held at Memorial Park, Gainesville, GA.

A Celebration of Life Reception will be held Friday, June 18th from 4:30-6:45PM at the home of his children at 9410 Colonnade Trail, Alpharetta, Ga 30022

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association can be made in his name.
