Sonny Little

Sonny Little age 77 of Gainesville entered rest Saturday June 12, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville surrounded by his loving family. Sonny was born January 1, 1944 in Gainesville to the late Clyde Hubert & Helen Frances Strickland Little. He was retired from Vintage Mobile Homes where he served as a quality control manager. He and his wife later owned & operated a bakery named The Little Bake Shop. He was a member of West Hall Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Little; his mother in law & father in law, Nora & Lewis Jones; grandson, Nathan Little.. Survivors include, wife 55 years, Olene H. Little; son, Travis (Norma) Little; daughter, Kristie (Chris) Upton; sisters, Pat (Glenn) Abernathy & Sheila Stanley; grandchildren, Quentin (Jesse), Rose (Morgan), Alex, Sydney, Hunter & Nicole; step grandchildren, Clint (Jodie) & Zack; step great grandchild, Silas; special friend, Eddie Davis. A number of nieces & nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 16, 2021 at the West Hall Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Reynolds & Rev. Bobby Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Garrison officiating. The family will receive friends Monday June 14, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday June 15, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
