Nancy “Crickett” Louraine Hood

Nancy “Crickett” Louraine Hood, age 60, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. She was born in 1960, to the late Harley and Salle Mae Pruitt. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Nancy enjoyed crafting, baking, and reading her bible. She loved spending time with her family and puppies. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be missed dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby Pruitt, Leroy Pruitt, Lamar Pruitt, Vernice Sweatman, Luther Pruitt, Christine Pruitt, and Jimmy Pruitt.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Rickey Hood; daughter, April Hood; siblings, Rev. Cecil (Montez) Pruitt, Rev. Carrell T. Pruitt, Ruby Bagley, and Fern (Rev. C.T.) Evans; puppies, Chloe and Mia; several nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Rex Byrd, Rev. Jack Pilcher, Rev. Tim Pruitt, and Rev. Shane Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
