Rebecca “Becky” Holbrook, 80, of Dawsonville passed away Monday June 7, 2021.

Born February 12, 1941 in Hoschton, Georgia to the late James and Damaris Ouzts, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 35 years having moved from Atlanta.  She retired from Hitachi America in 1999 following 26 years of service.  Becky delivered Meals on Wheels for the Dawson County Senior Center for 15 years, was Past President of the Dawson County Kiwanis Club, was a volunteer reader in the Dawson County School System, was a former House Parent at the Southern Christian Home for Children, was a member of the Grandmother’s Club, and was a member of The Church of the Apostles.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Danny Holbrook, and a sister, Nancy Dickens.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Dan Holbrook, Dawsonville; daughter, Christian Haley Milner, Sylva, NC; grandchildren, Maleia Paris, Melody Milner, John H. Milner, V; great grandchildren, Aiden Paris, Gracie Paris, Shelby Thorne, Wesley Milner; brothers and sisters in law, James and Carla Ouzts, Loganville, Kelley and Kathleen Ouzts, Orange Beach, AL.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 19, 2021 at 1 o’clock at The Church of the Apostles.  Pastor J. P. Morris will officiate.
