Dianne (Davis) Coughlan, age 83, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, following a long illness.
Dianne was born April 15, 1938 in Alexandria, Virginia to the late J. Byron Davis and Louise (Souther) Davis. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, George W. Brown, Jr.
Dianne graduated from Gainesville High school in 1956 and then attended Florida State University where she met and married the father of her children and became an Air Force wife living all over the country until settling in Hampton, New Hampshire for a number of years. She returned to Gainesville and began a career in banking and mortgage lending.
Dianne is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott J. Crews (Kazue) of Dacula, GA; son, Kenneth B. Crews of Las Vegas, NV; and daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer L. Vandiver (Lawrence) of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Sarah Cascone, Wade Crews, Sydney Kitay, Randy Crews, Jamie Crews, Grace Cascone and Erica Crews; and a sister, Jean (Davis) Brown.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:30 pm Friday, June 18, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. There will be a private family interment at Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm Friday, June 18, 2021 prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family has requested no flowers but donations to Hospice of Northeast Georgia 2150 Limestone Parkway Suite #222 Gainesville, GA 30501, Boys and Girls Club of Gainesville P.O. Box 691 Gainesville, GA 30503, or to a charity of your choice.
