Mr. William Hal Grafton, age 69 of Cawthon Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his residence.
A son of the late Joe P. and Jewell Ivester Grafton, he was born November 17, 1951 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver and attended Toccoa Assembly of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Tabitha Grafton and Jodie Grafton, a brother, J.P. Grafton, Jr. and by two sisters, Frances Capes and Mary Crunkleton.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Teresa Smith Grafton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Joey Bramlett, Courtney and William King and Amber and Tim Reganato all of Toccoa; sons and daughter-in-law, Hal, Jr. and Kristy Grafton of Lacona, New York and Justin Grafton of Gauthier, Mississippi; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Aubrey and Laura Grafton, Phil and Lynn Grafton, Roger and Donna Grafton and Wayne and Karel Grafton all of Toccoa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Sidney Jarrett of Toccoa and Linda and Michael Whitfield of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Florence Grafton of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 11, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at Toccoa Assembly of God with The Reverend Charles Reese officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Hal Grafton, Jr., Justin Grafton, William King, Tim Reganato, Tristen Grafton and Noah Grafton.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, 2021, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Roselane Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346 Honor Guard.
