Clifford Wayne Spell

Mr. Clifford Wayne Spell, age 82, of Flowery Branch, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 9, 2021 at Flat Creek Baptist Church. Zack Williams and Brian Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

Mr. Spell was born February 11, 1939 to the late Henry Clifford & Clara Spell in Hope Mills, North Carolina. Mr. Spell graduated Hope Mills High School in Hope Mills, North Carolina, where he enjoyed playing football, and later Devry Technical Institute of Chicago, Illinois. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force, and was also a private aircraft instructor. He left the service as a Sr. Master Sergeant and went on to work 20 years with Lockheed Martin Corporation as a field service tech representative. He was a lifetime member of the boy scouts and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Georgie Spell of Flowery Branch, GA; Son & Soul Mate, Michael & Julie Spell of Little Elm, TX; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Patricia & Scott Russell of Tifton, GA; Brother & Sister-in-Law, Ronnie & Janna Spell of Columbia, S.C.; sister, Martha Lane Parker of Hope Mills, N.C.; grandchildren; Lauren & George Boen, Kelsey Pruitt, and Brennan Spell.
