Ava Voisin Brazeal

Mrs. Ava Voisin Brazeal, age 82, of, Flowery Branch passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at Bell Minor, following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Pastor Gary Osteen will officiate. The family will receive friends 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  

Mrs. Brazeal was born to the late Audrey Alfred Voisin and the late Cora Belle Nanny on August 24th, 1938 in Jewett, Texas. She was of Christian faith, retired from AT&T, and then became an Auxiliary Police Officer in Shreveport, Louisiana, as well as a volunteer worker for CASA Child Appointed Special Advocates. She graduated from LSU Shreveport in 2006 at the age of 67.

Mrs. Brazeal is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Patrick & Patricia Brazeal of Lula; grandchildren, Patrick J. & his spouse, Angel Brazeal, Paton Brazeal & his fiancé, Quinci Blalock, and Parry Brazeal; great-grandchildren, Klayten and Westen Brazeal; brother, Raymond Voisin; and sister, JoAnn Baxendale.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rollins Brazeal.
