Sue Kilgore

Sue Kilgore, age 81, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas F. Kilgore.  She is survived by her sons, Mark Douglas Kilgore of Madison, GA, former daughter-in-law, Janis M. Kilgore, and Rex Kilgore of Dawsonville, GA;  grandchildren, Amanda Robertson, Cody Kilgore, Colton Kilgore and Justin Long; great-grandchildren, Marissa Robertson, Maci Robertson and Brantley Kilgore; sister-in-law, Shirley Anglin Head of Dahlonega, GA; brother-in-law, Cecil Head of North Georgia and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Kilgore was born on October 12, 1939 in Flowery Branch, GA.  She was a graduate of Flowery Branch High School and retired from Avery Labels after 23 years of service.  She was also cleaned houses for many years. Mrs. Kilgore was a member of First Baptist Church of Flowery Branch, GA, and she enjoyed helping people.   A funeral service will be held on Saturday,  June 5, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Moore of  Flowery Branch First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
