James Timothy 'Tim' McCoy

Mr. James Timothy “Tim” McCoy, age 85 of Maysville passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at his residence.  Mr. McCoy was born in Maysville to the late, Jimmy E. and Kate Ray McCoy.  Mr. McCoy was a retired poultry farmer, member of Gillsville Baptist Church, U.S. Navy veteran, a 50 year member of the Phi Delta Lodge #148 F&AM.

Mr. McCoy is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Evans McCoy of Maysville; sons, Clint McCoy of Maysville, Greg McCoy of Gillsville, and Timmy McCoy of Maysville; daughters, Donna Minish of Gillsville and Regina Whitlock of Gillsville; brother, Randy McCoy of Kennesaw; sister, Marie Evans of Commerce; special Aunt, Jimmie Cochran of Ringgold; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, June 3^rd at 2:00 PM from the L.L. Evans Family Cemetery with Rev. Saul McCoy and Pastor Shannon Rhodes officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6-8 PM.
