Dottie Jackson

Dottie Jackson, age 78, of Sautee, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021.

Mrs. Jackson was born on January 10, 1943, in Helen, Georgia, to the late James and Inez Allen Sims.  She was the owner of Alpine Brew in Helen, Georgia.  Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Rondal Jackson; step-father, Willard Tallent; brothers, Tommy Tallent and Jimmy Tallent.

Survivors include her daughter, Tanya Oliver, Helen; sons, Trent Jackson, Sautee, and Stacy Jackson, Demorest; grandchildren, Tyler King, Eli Oliver, Jaracoe Jackson, Trenika Jackson, Tamara Jackson, Zachary Jackson, Oaklee Jackson, and Nikki Jackson; great-grandchildren, Emily King, Jaydon King, Easton Martin, Zayleigh Jackson, James Jackson, and Ben Rylee; brother, Dink Tallent.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Milton Harris will officiate.  Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
