Darrell Dean Stephens

            Mr. Darrell Dean Stephens, age 65 of Oxford, Georgia, formerly of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Piedmont Healthcare following a sudden illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Mr. Carl Nelson and Miss Audrey Fuller will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

            Mr. Stephens was born July 4, 1955 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late James Hovie and Jimmie Ruth Stephens. Darrell was a graduate of North Hall High School and had many different jobs in his lifetime but was a Master Artist in the upholstery business.  He acquired many friends along life’s journey, always ready to tell a story and always good for a laugh.  Darrell was loved by many and will be missed by all.

            Mr. Stephens is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Nathan & C.J. Stephens of Oxford, Georgia, his brother & sister-in-law, James & Kathy Stephens, of Mosheim, Tennessee, his precious grandchildren, Noah, Nathaniel, Colt, Zeta, Samantha, Jaxton and Connor, his nephews, Kevin and Cole, his niece, Jenna and many other relatives and friends.
