Delories Catherine Welborn

Delories Catherine Welborn age 84 of Lula entered heaven at her residence Saturday May 29, 2021 with her family by her side.

Delories was born in Gainesville March 30, 1937 to the late William Early & Callie Evans Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of Airline Baptist Church. She was called “Nana” by her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hoyal Welborn, sisters, Ella Jane Campbell, Inez McElhannon, Christine Davis & Dessie Mae Griffin; brothers, Ernest Campbell, Howard Campbell & Roy Campbell.

Surviving, son, Mike (Janice) Welborn; daughter, Tia (David) Sloan; grandchildren, Erin (Geoff) Lonberger, Taylor (Heather) Welborn, Tanner Sloan, Tyler Sloan & Darian Sloan; great grandchildren, Landon, Britton, Clayton, Mattie, Abigail & Hudson; sister, Mary Ellen (George) Pittman; a host of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services honoring Delories will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday June 2, 2021 at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Taylor Welborn officiating. She will be laid to rest by her husband in the church cemetery with Rev. Zach Watson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Tuesday June 1, 2021 at the funeral home.
