Roy Lee Edmonds

Mr. Roy Lee Edmonds, age 75 of Red Rock Road, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at his residence.
A son of the late James Willard Bill Edmonds and Teeny Standridge Edmonds, he was born April 21, 1946 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was a barber before starting his own logging business, Edmonds Logging Company.  He was of the Holiness faith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Fuller Edmonds, by a son, Stacy Lee Edmonds, brother, James Willard Edmonds, Jr., sister, Margaret Edmonds, niece Teresa Everett and nephew, David Edmonds.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Chris Allen of Martin; grandchildren, Courtney and Kal Tucker, Andrew and Audrey Payne and Jessica and Brandon Bohannon; six great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Frankie and Ward Edwards of Greenville, South Carolina and Ida Aldrich of Eastanollee; a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday, May 29, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Edward Hood officiating. Military Honors will be by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346 Honor Guard.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service time.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
