Willie Jo Ridings

Willie Jo Ridings, age 87, passed away May 23, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband: James Tunney “JT” Ridings and her daughter: Cathy Ridings Stone.

Willie Jo is survived by her son: James (Stacy) Tunney Ridings, Jr. of Cumming, GA, daughter: Sandie (Norman) Ridings Loyd of Gainesville, GA and grandchildren: James Davis Tunney Ridings, James Andrew Ridings and Joseph H. Loyd.

Willie Jo was passionate about cooking, had tremendous love for animals especially elephants.  She loved her place in Florida at the beach and loved boat rides on Lake Lanier.  Her favorite flower was the fragrant white lily. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Her graveside service will be Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Holbrook Campground Cemetery.

In addition to flowers the family appreciates donations made in Willie Jo’s honor to the Hall County Animal Shelter, 1688 Barber Road, Gainesville, GA 30507.
