Stacey Picklesimer, 51, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday May 20, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Born April 9, 1970 and raised in Forsyth County, Stacey had been a resident of Dawsonville for over 20 years. He was a member of Silver City Baptist Church and worked at Thomas Lumber for many years. A loving and devoted husband, father, and papa, he loved spoiling his grandkids, being outdoors, woodworking, and building things. Stacey was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Taylor.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Crystal Picklesimer of Dawsonville; children, Justin (Brittany) Picklesimer of Dawsonville; Amber (Stephen) Watson of Cumming, Ashley Picklesimer of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Hunter, Maddie, Greyson; father, Winford Picklesimer of Jasper; sister, Christy Picklesimer of Jasper; brother, Brian (Stacey) Picklesimer of Dahlonega; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday May 23, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Biddy and Rev. Richard Picklesimer will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday May 22 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
