A son of the late Kermit and Velma Smith Jenkins, he was born August 5, 1953 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was a retired painter and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by a daughter April Jenkins and two brothers Roger and Jimmy Jenkins.
Survivors include his son Terry Lee Jenkins Jr. of Ohio, sisters and brothers-in-law Carolyn Wilson of Eastanollee, Gloria and Roger Cobb of Toccoa, Sylvia and Alan Rider of Toccoa, Rhonda Peeples of Toccoa and Shelia and Wesley Kellar of Eastanollee and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday May 24, 2021 at 4 P.M. at Old Toccoa Baptist Church with the family officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 PM til service time.
Interment will follow in Old Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery.
