Mr. Richard Lee Koger, 77, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Highsmith and Rev. Allen Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on October 10, 1943 in Corrine, W. VA., he was the son of the late Claude and Vera Mae Hunt Koger. He was a retired mechanic and was a member of Harvest Time Worship Center in Cleveland. Mr. Koger proudly served his country in the Air Force and Army.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Koger is preceded in death by his stepsons, Timothy Koger, Randy Bellew and brother Robert Neil Koger.
Mr. Koger is survived by his wife, Karlene Walker Koger of Cleveland; daughters, Sherry Newman of Cynthia, KY, Denise Koger of Kissimmee, FL; sons, Kenneth Koger of Stamping Ground, KY, Richard A. Koger of Cleveland, GA; step daughters, Pam Didas of Sharpsburg, GA, Sandy Griffin of Ithaca, NY; sisters, JoAnn Brown of Winter Springs, FL, Jean Marks of Orlando, FL; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and other loving relatives.
