Estelle Rena Lee Christ

Mrs. Estelle Rena Lee Christ, age 89 of Toccoa passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. 

A daughter of the late Aaron Thomas Lee and Rena Sapp Lee, she was born September 10, 1931 in Russell, Florida having lived in Florida most of her life and the last nine years in Toccoa.  She was a retired bookkeeper and a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Christ in 2015.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and DeLisa Christ of Toccoa; grandchildren, Gregory and Corrina Christ, Lacy and Seth Meisel and Haleigh Christ; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Landon Meisel; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 22, 2021, 11 O’clock a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Brent White officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 9 a.m. until the service time.  Due to the health and well-being of the community, social distancing is encouraged.  Masks are encouraged during the visitation and service.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Open Arms Clinic, 109 Big A Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 or Northeast Georgia Hospice, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 222, Gainesville, Georgia 30501 in memory of Mrs. Estelle Christ.

Entombment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
