Shirley Ann Burell Sartain

Mrs. Shirley Ann Burell Sartain, 79 of Dahlonega passed away on May 15, 2021. Mrs. Sartain retired from Hart County School Systems where she worked as a lunchroom supervisor. She was very proud of being able to increase the amount of cafeteria sales because of her cooking ability.  Mrs. Sartain was a member of Dahlonega United Methodist Church and also a Red Hat Lady. She enjoyed traveling as her and her husband William have taken many trips over the years with never an itinerary.

Mrs. Sartain is preceded by her parents Herman & Emma Mae (Rider) Burell and her sister Wanda Adams.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years William Oscar Sartain, son daughter Benjamin (Kim) Sartain of Cleveland, GA; daughter Sonya Sartain of Stockbridge, GA. Grandchildren Abbey, Hoyt, and Kate Sartain. Other relatives also survive.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 18, 2021 from 10 am until the service time at 2pm. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.
