Reba Clark McGee

Reba Clark McGee, 89 of Gainesville passed away Saturday May 15, 2021.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. McGee was the daughter of the late Pierce and Vera Pass Clark.  She started in the banking industry at The Citizens Bank and later retired from Gainesville National Bank/ Wachovia. She loved working in her yard and  flower garden and feeding her birds.   Mrs. McGee was a member of South Bend United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Linda and Robert Sims; Nancy and Ron Quinn, all of Gainesville; grandchildren, Kevin and Christina Sims; Kyle and Tiffany Sims; Chase Quinn; Clay and Lindsey Quinn; great granddaughters; Avery Hart Sims and Tinsley Gray Sims; sister, Eulene Hollifield; sister and brother-in-law, June and Buddy Whelchel; brother, Jimmy Clark, all of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Irwin Glenn, Burlington, NC;   A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. McGee is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert W. McGee, brother, Joe Clark, sister, Peggy Gilleland and sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Gladys and Ralph Chapman.

Funeral services will be held Sunday May 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Richard Long will officiate.  Interment will follow in the South Bend United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
