Jack Norman Hudgins

Obituary Date: Wednesday, May 12, 2021

Mr. Jack Norman Hudgins age 86 of Oakwood, Ga passed away on Wednesday May 12, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.         

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday May 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Billy Emmett will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday May 14, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hudgins was born on May 19, 1934 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Hoyt Hudgins and Pauline Gravitt Hudgins. He worked for Lucent Technologies as a production specialist and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Gillsville, Ga. He is preceded in death by his parents, sons, Jackie R. Hudgins, Michael Leonard Hudgins, brothers, Herbie Horace, and Billy Hudgins, and his sister, Claudine Hudgins.    

Jack is survived by his wife, Shirley Williams Hudgins of Oakwood, son, Thomas Hudgins of Gainesville, daughter, Mickie Hawkins of Gainesville, brother, Kenneth Hudgins (Mary) of Gainesville, sister, Lois Southers (Ralph) of Gainesville, grandchildren, Dustin Hudgins (Tiffany), Autumn Brock (Jesse), Michelle Chapman, great-grandchildren, Brewer Brock, Breslyn Brock, Roger Hudgins, Franklin Hudgins, Amberly Colina, Trinidad Puente, Gabrielle Puente, Florajean Puente, sisters-in-laws, Carol Gail and Vivian Hudgins and numerous nieces and nephews.
