Linda Cheryl Holladay

Linda Cheryl Holladay, age 72, of Cumming, GA passed away May 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Virginia Griffith. The driving force in Linda’s life was her love for God’s Son Jesus. Jesus placed a call on her life to play piano for Him at 9 years old. For all her life she followed that call on her life. She played piano for churches and she taught many others to play music for Jesus as well. Each student learned to love Ms. Linda and they learned about her love for playing music for Jesus. Her motto was “Music Last a Lifetime”. Linda loved her family with all her heart. And when she became a grandmother, she decided there was nothing better in life than being a grandma!

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David Holladay, daughter & son-in-law, Cheryl & Brian Whitmer, three granddaughters, Keeley, Allie, & Rylee Whitmer, sister & brother-in-law, Carol & Darrell Williams, niece, Stephanie (Tim) Farlow, great nieces, Miranda & Sydney Farlow, great nephews, Timmy & Liam Farlow, nephew, Sterling (Amanda) Williams, great nieces, McKenzie, Rosalie, & Gemma Williams, & Molly Chea, great nephew, Luke Williams and cousin, Mike Anderson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday May 17, 2021 at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robbie Mathis & Pastor Dana Overton-Garrett officiating. Interment will be held 1:30 PM Monday June 07, 2021 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
