Janice “Jan” Davis

Janice “Jan” Davis, 71, of Dawsonville passed away Friday May 7, 2021.

Born April 26, 1950 in Lilburn, Missouri to the late John and Paula Adams, she had lived in Dawson County for the past year having moved from Gainesville.  Jan retired as a nurse with the Hall County School System and was the former director of Peachtree Plantation in Oakwood for many years.  She enjoyed gardening and reading.  Jan was very devoted to her Christian faith, her family, and especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters and sons in law, Shelly and Jeff Whitt, Dawsonville, Melanie Davis, Marco Island, FL, Carrie and Shane Stepp, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Caroline and Nathan Mersberger, Emma and Tim Hartshorn, Eric Whitt, Luke Parker, Adison Parker, Madi Grace Stepp; great granddaughter, Olivia Mersberger; sister and brother in law, Debbie and Frank Allegra, Smyrna; brother and sister in law, Mike and Joni Adams, Peachtree City; special friends, Johnny and Gail Stepp, Gainesville.

The family is planning a celebration of her life at a later date.
