Syble Jeanette Chastain

Syble Jeanette Chastain, 78, of Commerce went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Syble was an anointed woman of God; kind, loving and patient. Syble fulfilled her calling as a wife, mother and grandmother. She was well known as a Sunday School Teacher, business owner and perfected Southern cooking at the delight to all when eating at her table. Syble is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Neese, and a brother, Bill Gravitt.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Chastain; children, Wanda Chastain, Ellen Chastain, Jill Chastain, Jay and Shea Chastain, Neda and Neal Chastain; grandchildren, Bobby Randall, III, Tyson Randall, Elise Randall, Aaron Sosebee, Shawn Chastain, Brett Morgan, Kyle Chastain, Kolby Chastain, Kasen Chastain; 8 great grandchildren; and brother, Tommy Roper.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 9, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The following gentlemen have been requested to serve as pallbearers: Bobby Randall, III, Tyson Randall, Kyle Chastain, Kolby Chastain, Kasen Chastain, Neal Sandefur and Richard Jones.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
