Debra Ann Shedd Jones

Mrs. Debra Ann Shedd Jones, age 64 of Lakeside Drive, Toccoa passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Thurmon and Grace Duke Shedd, she was born September 10, 1956 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life.  She was employed with Milliken for a number of years and was a member of Tugalo Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Travis Jones in 2012.

Survivors include a brother, Dennis Shedd of Toccoa.

Graveside services will be Monday, May 10, 2021, 2 o’clock p.m. at the Tugalo Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Roger Elrod officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jimmy Mitchell, Levi Mitchell and Hudson Mitchell.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from noon until time to leave for the service.  Due to the health and well-being of the community, social distancing is encouraged.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Tugalo Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Debra Ann Shedd Jones.
