Byron Oswaldo Munrayos

Byron Oswaldo Munrayos, age 69, of Gainesville, GA passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

He was born in Zacapa, Guatemala, December 1st, 1951 to the late Eli Munrayos and Guillermina Orellana. He was also preceded in death by his brother,
Mario Munrayos (Norma Munrayos), and his sister, Elizabeth Cordon (Luis Cordon).

Byron is survived by his wife of 48 years, Reina Aneth Hernandez; daughters, Mildred Martinez (Eliud Martinez), Lucy Concepcion (Julio Concepcion), and Cristina Caraballo (Santoni Caraballo); son, Byron Munrayos, Jr. (Nayeli Munrayos); siblings, Gloria Duarte (Otto Duarte), Lesbia Aguirre (Carlos Aguirre), Edvin Munrayos (Maribel Munrayos), and Efrain Munrayos (Estela Munrayos). 8 grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive.

He loved to play guitar, sing, and loved sharing the gospel with everyone. He retired from his job as a machine engineer and was of the Christian Faith.

Funeral services for Byron are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2021 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

Pastor Jorge Mercado will officiate. 

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville from 11:00 AM until service hour on Friday, May 7.
